Fox is the powerhouse bassist of CBRB, bringing decades of professional experience and a global perspective to the group’s sound. His bass lines and backing vocals form the solid backbone of the band, driving the rhythm with precision while adding depth and texture to its arrangements.
An accomplished musician, Fox’s career has spanned performance, production, composition, recording, and touring. He has worked alongside some of Europe’s most celebrated artists, including Goran Bregović, Bijelo Dugme, Alen Islamović, Željko Bebek, Bajaga, Hari Mata Hari, Parni Valjak, and many more. This breadth of collaboration has shaped his musical style, blending rock, pop, funk, and world music influences into a uniquely versatile approach.
Since moving to Australia, Fox has been a familiar presence on the Sydney live scene for more than a decade, performing in iconic venues such as the Golden Sheaf, North Bondi RSL, Revesby Workers Club, and Penrith RSL. His stagecraft and ability to lock in with both drummers and audiences alike make him an essential part of CBRB’s dynamic live performances.
As a songwriter and producer, Fox released his own debut album in 2005 and continues to write and arrange music, infusing CBRB’s repertoire with creativity and technical skill. His broad influences—ranging from Level 42, Sting, and Stevie Wonder to Queen, Prince, and The Rolling Stones—fuel his ability to adapt and innovate while always keeping the groove at the centre.
With his deep musical roots and commanding stage presence, Fox ensures that every CBRB performance delivers both energy and polish. His bass playing doesn’t just anchor the music—it elevates it.
