G’day beautiful people! Welcome to the Coogee Bay Road Band’s website! We’re an original rock band from the beaut town of Coogee, New South Wales. Let us introduce ourselves!

First up, we’ve got Slava, the top dog and leader of the pack. He’s a legend on the guitar, strumming those strings and belting out some mean harmonica tunes. Slava’s also the mastermind behind most of our cracking songs, penning lyrics that’ll make ya think.

Next, we’ve got Joe on the keys, giving our tunes that extra groove. He’s a ripper singer too, belting out some sweet melodies alongside Slava. You’ll catch him tickling those ivories and getting the crowd jumpin’!

Now, meet Fox, our bass player and backing vocalist. This bloke knows how to lay down a solid rhythm and keep the whole band in sync. He adds that extra oomph to our sound and keeps the energy pumpin’! Being in the prime of his musical journey, Foxy played with some of the top names from former Jugoslavia – seriously serious shit, just to put it lightly.

Last but not least, we’ve got Peter on the drums. He’s a beast behind the kit, poundin’ those skins like there’s no tomorrow. And don’t be fooled, Peter’s got some mean pipes too, harmonizin’ with the rest of us and addin’ that extra punch! This guy has a truly mind-boggling track-record including live touring with Jenny Morris and supporting shows for Paul McCartney, INXS, Prince, James Brown and countless hours as studio session musician.

Now, when it comes to our music, we’re all about mixin’ it up. We take classic rock, blues, and Eastern European folk influences and mash ’em together for a sound that’ll get your toes tappin’ and your heart racin’. But it ain’t just about the tunes. We pride ourselves on our clever melodies and harmonies, always tryin’ to find new ways to make ’em shine and not resemble anything you heard before. And our lyrics? That when the crazy shit comes out! We tell stories that span across our songs, with references and connections that’ll keep ya guessin’ and comin’ back for more.
